Dual Credit (concurrent college/high school) classes may be taken at Grayson County College or through the PHS Distance Learning Lab. If a “C” is earned it will count as dual credit and calculated into the GPA but no advanced measure will be awarded per state guidelines. ***Prior permission must be obtained through Pottsboro High School Counseling Office in order to enroll in a dual credit course. If a student chooses to take a dual credit course that does not correspond with PHS curriculum, this course will meet an advance measure but will not be calculated into the GPA. Pottsboro ISD also offers Distance Education through Texas Tech University. Such programs that are available are; credit by examinations and dual credit.
