My name is Jayme Blessing. I am your high school counselor. Many of you, I have had the pleasure of getting to know in middle school. For those of you who don’t know me, I have taught 7th grade in Pottsboro for 11 years. This is my third year to serve as the high school counselor. I have been in education for 23 years. Wow! Where has the time gone?

I am from Oklahoma and a pretty big OU fan. I have a Bachelors’ of Science in Elementary Education from Northeastern Oklahoma State University and a Masters' of Education Reading Specialist from Central Oklahoma State University. Also, I have a masters' degree in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

My husband’s name is Greg and we have three sons, David and daughter-in-law Linsey, Jordan and Hayden. We also have a grandson, Dillon that is three years old. And I can’t forget my dog, Sargent. He has been with us for 9 years.
