Welcome to another year of Pottsboro High School Art. Pottsboro High School is home to many creative student artists who meet daily to work hard and have fun creating masterpieces that we are excited to share with you.

The art curriculum at Pottsboro is disciplined based, meaning that it combines the four major disciplines of art: Art production (learning to make art), Aesthetics (using art vocabulary to talk about art and it’s purposes), Art criticism (evaluating artwork), and Art history (our cultural heritage). All projects are aligned with the Texas Teks Course of Study for Art Education.
