Thinking Maps
This is the second year for Pottsboro ISD to be using Thinking Maps®. This program helps students to identify the eight main thinking patterns and attach them to consistent visual organizers. It is amazing the level of thought that can be demonstrated by even our youngest learners. Used for comparing two objects
Flow Map
Used to sequence events in order
Multi-Flow Map
Used to examine cause and effect relationships
Tree Map
Used to sort and categorize
Brace Map
Used to break something down into its component parts
Bridge Map
Used to look at the relationship between objects as in analogies
